1. Smeg BCC02
This sleek, compact, and striking machine, designed by Milan-based firm Deep Design combines the brand's retro aesthetic with cutting-edge technology. It takes care of every step of the coffee-making process, from grinding beans and shaping them into a puck to mixing milk and dispense the right amount - so you can make high-quality barista hot drinks with the click of the button.
The machine is also available in red, black, or taupe. It is a great fit into any kitchen design. The machine is not without faults however. The majority of reviewers thought it was quite expensive for a cup-to- bean maker (and it doesn't come with a pitcher of milk).
There were many positive reviews about this machine's ease of use as well as the quality of its coffee. The intuitive digital display provides an easy-to-follow guideline and feedback throughout the entire coffee making process, helping you improve your coffee every time. It will even alert you to adjust the size of the grind if it's not exactly right. It's like having your very own personal barista at home (minus Elon Musk's rocket building skills and Harry Potter's invisible cape).
This model is perfect for those who like milky drinks. The steam wand is adjustable up and down to fit a variety of drinking vessels, excluding Viking drinking horns. We were impressed by the speed and efficiency of the frothing process too. It also produces an excellent espresso, with a great crema and full flavour despite its compact size.
The BCC02 is an excellent all-rounder that's quiet, efficient and offers superb value for money, especially at its current price of PS499. Its only real drawback is that it doesn't provide the same level of customisation like some of the other bean-to-cups we've tested. It has a pump that is 15 bars instead of the standard 19 bars. This is not as effective for making high-quality espressos. This is a great machine for those who like their coffee dark and strong. Click here to check out Lavazza's fantastic deal.

Users have also been amazed by the speed of the machine. It's faster than other machine they have ever used. Another benefit is that it will alert you when one of its hoppers is nearly empty, so that you do not get caught running out of your preferred beverage.
The only thing that could be a disadvantage for certain individuals is the price. The machine is priced at PS999. It is still cheaper than comparable Jura machines that have similar features.
Barista TS smart is protected by a two-year guarantee. This is more than the average one year guarantee, so it is a indication of trust from the manufacturer.
